2025

Molecule develops a protocol and products that address the inefficiencies and funding gaps in traditional scientific research. They enable fractional governance of IP through novel technological solutions, like the DeSci Screener, facilitating a more democratic and transparent funding process. This empowers researchers by providing new avenues for funding while allowing funders and the public to directly support and benefit from scientific advancements.

As the product suite grew, the gap between the visual language of the DeSci Screener and the overall Molecule brand widened. Our first priority addressed the brand system of the DeSci Screener, and how visual cues applied to product and web. From there, the project grew to include a brand design sprint on Molecule sub brands to create a holistic visual language across sets of innovation data. The root of this project is a cohesive brand for Molecule that includes the developments of the Desci Screener. Ultimately, Let’s Work Studio achieved this through a visual design system that is tailored for Molecule as a growing brand.

Brand Design System
The brand kit serves as a protective layer that makes visual design choices simpler for internal teams and external contractors  to make. A comprehensive visual guide helps Molecule maintain a cohesive visual brand. We created a brand design system for Molecule that extends to their sub-brands, product offerings, and IP tokenization components.

DeSci Screener
As a sub brand of Molecule and a distinct product entity, DeSci Screener received its own brand book as an artifact of the identity work. As a decentralized design system, extra care and effort was taken to create instructions. Any designer, developer, or product manager should be able to reference and recreate styles from this book.
